Margin is the Republican candidate's share minus the Democrat's, of all votes cast in the race. "Shift" compares a county with the previous general election for the same office; both U.S. Senate seats form one series. The 2026 Senate race is a special election for the rest of JD Vance's term, which ends in January 2029. Governor and lieutenant governor run as a ticket and are listed under the governor; presidential tickets under the presidential candidate. Ohio Supreme Court races are shown from 2022, the first year party labels appeared on the ballot. Ohio doesn't number its Supreme Court seats; each seat is named here after the justice who holds it, and compared with its own previous election. Results: the Ohio Secretary of State's official canvass, statewide and by county (2018 as amended by the Miami County Board of Elections); the state's website blocks automated downloads, so the files were retrieved from the Internet Archive's copies. Statewide totals match the certified results. Write-in votes are combined; the 2024 file doesn't include them. In 2016 the Libertarian Party wasn't a recognized party in Ohio, so Gary Johnson appears as an independent, as on the ballot. 2026 results come from the Secretary of State's election-night results and are unofficial until certified. Turnout isn't included yet.

Ohio House results: the Ohio Secretary of State's official canvass; each year's seat totals match the official results (Republicans won 65, 66, 61, 64, 67 and 65 seats from 2014 to 2024). All 99 seats are up every two years. Uncontested races are shown with the winner's votes. Districts follow the map in force each year: the 2011 plan (2014–2020), the plan adopted in February 2022 and ordered into use by a federal court after the Ohio Supreme Court rejected several maps (2022), and the plan the Ohio Redistricting Commission adopted unanimously in September 2023 (2024 and 2026). A district number can cover different ground in different years. Maps: U.S. Census Bureau cartographic boundary files; each was checked against the results county by county. The chamber count uses election results only; appointments and resignations between general elections aren't included. 2026 results come from the Secretary of State's election-night results and are unofficial until certified.

Ohio Senate results: the Ohio Secretary of State's official canvass; each year's seat totals match the official results. Senators serve four-year terms: odd-numbered districts are elected in midterm years (2014, 2018, 2022, 2026) and even-numbered ones in presidential years. The chamber makeup adds senators not up that year, carried from their last general election, including across the 2022 and 2024 map changes. In 2024 District 33 was also on the ballot for an unexpired term. Districts follow the map in force each year: the 2011 plan (2014–2020), the February 2022 plan (2022) and the September 2023 plan (2024 and 2026). The 2014 chamber count covers only the 17 seats elected that year. Maps: U.S. Census Bureau cartographic boundary files, checked against the results county by county. 2026 results come from the Secretary of State's election-night results and are unofficial until certified.

Maps: U.S. Census Bureau cartographic boundary files; the 2025 plan is drawn from the commission's block assignment file and 2020 Census blocks (every district has 786,629 or 786,630 people).
